Dynamic Imaging is a unique imaging system which enables the treating physician to visualize the internal and external movements of the body or bio-mechanics, simultaneously. When an area of the body is injured, it is usually a result of excessive force causing abnormal motion in that area. One of the best and most effective ways to find and evaluate the extent of the injury is to visualize the injured area with Dynamic Imaging.
Quality and safety is first and foremost in our Dynamic Imaging system. All tests are performed by a physician and recorded on VHS tapes for clarity and accuracy in diagnosing. Dynamic Imaging is a non-invasive procedure. The purpose of motion x-ray imaging is to capture on video film that which normally goes undetected by other diagnostic testing.
Dynamic Imaging provides miniature x-rays and colored ligament pictures with every report to help aid your doctor in documenting your injuries and providing an effective treatment plan.
An exam will usually take about 30 minutes. No special preparation is necessary ... you may eat or drink as usual beforehand.
